Armed Robbers Attacks Ondo Bank Kills 4 Persons

A group of heavily armed Robbers on Thursday afternoon invaded an old- generation bank in Oluji/Okeigbo local government area of Ondo State living four persons dead. An eyewitness told our correspondent that the robbers gained entry into the bank through the aid of dynamites. The incident took place around 4pm. Police recover 1,181 firearms in 7 months

Juliet Ezeh, Abuja The Police on Tuesday said that they recovered 1,181 firearms of various descriptions and calibre, including improvised explosive devices (IEDs) and rocket launchers in seven months. The acting Inspector-General of Police, Alhaji Mohammed Adamu, said that 1,071 persons lost their lives in crime-related cases across the country in the first quarter of 2019.
