COVID-19: Flourmills donates food products across the country

*Reiterates its commitment to feeding the nation, even in tough times.

The Flour mills Nigeria PLC on Wednesday donated truck loads of food products to the Lagos State Government.

The move was to kick start the food donation drive across the country, the company has donated several trucks of food products to Lagos State in support of the state’s ongoing food relief efforts.

Speaking at the handover event, Boye Olusanya, the Group Chief Operating Officer, of the company said: “To reduce the impact of the Coronavirus outbreak, FMN will continue to work with the government and related agencies at both the federal and state levels to provide relief materials. The safety of Nigerians is paramount to us, so we encourage all Nigerians to adhere to the necessary protective measures against the virus and its spread.”

Other Senior members of FMN who present during the donation were: Devlin Hainsworth, MD, Foods Division, FMN, and Joseph Umolu, Company Secretary / Legal Director, FMN. The team from FMN was received by Gbolahan Lawal, the Honourable Commissioner, Lagos State Ministry of Agriculture.
