The United Bank of Africa, UBA on Monday donated the sum of Twenty eight million five hundred thousand naira N28.5M to the Kogi State Government to enable her fight the Coronavirus pandemic.
According to an online report credited to the Kogi State Commissioner of Information, Evan. Kingsley Fanwo he said, the government is happy to receive the sum of N28.5M donated to the State Government in an effort against the spread of the virus.
The donation was received on behalf of the State Government by the Deputy Governor and the chairman Covid-19 Squadron Committee, His Excellency Edward David Onoja.
He thanked UBA for the kind gesture in this trying times and urged other Corporate Organizations to emulate the good gestures of UBA.
Kogi State have not recorded any case of Coronavirus since it was first discovered in Nigeria in February.
