As a result of the alleged secret meeting with the Vice President, Yemi Osibanjo, former President, Olusegun Obasanjo, has denied claims that he had a recent secret meeting with the Vice President.
Obasanjo has denied meeting with Osibanjo, and demanded the withdrawal of the said report an hour ago.
Former President Obasanjo denied that there was nothing of such between him and Osinbajo demanding an apology from the television station.
He further urged the media to always be professional in discharging their duties and should refrain from creating unnecessary confusion.
Also denying the report, Vice President, Osinbajo, said he only met with Obasanjo at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport in Abuja coincidentally adding that there was nothing apart from exchanging pleasantries with the former president at the airport.
The Vice President claimed that the photo showing him and former President Olusegun Obasanjo on Tuesday, November 20, did not prove there was any secret meeting between them.
Recall that the said photo reveals Osinbajo, the former president, and Rotimi Amaechi, the director general of President Muhammadu Buhari’s campaign organisation, went viral especially on social media.

However, Laolu Akande the vice president’s media aide, on Twitter said that the meeting, which happened at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, was unplanned, adding that there was no secret meeting between both leaders.
