Ohakim dumps APGA… moves to Accord Party

Former governor of Imo State, Chief Ikedia Ohakim, barring last minute desperation to contest 2019 governorship election in Imo State, has dumped All Progressive Grand Alliance, APGA, after failing to pick ticket of the party.

It was gathered that Ohakim was defeated by Ifeanyi Ararume, as APGA candidate, Chief Ikedi Ohakim, quickly switched to Accord Party where he was given the ticket. Senator Ifeanyi Araraume who was barely a month in the party is from Okigwe zone of the state, the same place with Ohakim.

Although Ohakim can only be said to be a loser having spent much on APGA and yet failed to pick its Governorship ticket, even though he will participate in the 2019 election as a Governorship candidate.
