National Drug Law Enforcement Agency, NDLEA, has been given a role in the employement of new recruits into the Federal Road Safety Corps, FRSC, enlistment, Dailymandate has authoritatively gathered in Abuja.
To be enlisted into the Corps, every new recruit are to go compulsory illicit drug test and screening as one of the conditions into the enlistment of the job.
Corps Marshal, Federal Road Safety Corps, Boboye Oyeyeni, disclosed this in Abuja, on Monday while paying visit to the headquarters of the NDLEA, to solicit assistance for the Corps, in the screening of its new recruits of free-drug life.
According to Boboye Oyeyeni, hence forth, FRSC applicants are to be subjected to illicit drug screening as one of the conditions for enlistiment into the Corps.
It was gathered that the NDLEA has accepted to do the screening of the applicants.
Chairman and Chief Executive, National Drug Law Enforcement Agency, NDLEA, Col. Muhammad Mustapha Abdallah (Rtd.), assured Corps Marshal, Federal Road Safety Corps, Boboye Oyeyeni, of the agency’s support and encouragment in the exercise.
